MEDER 2018: AN IMPORTANT FORUM OF EXCHANGE AND COLLABORATION WITH THE WORLD OF UNIVERSITY AND RESEARCH.

The connection between SISTEC and The University of Undin is constantly increasing. This week, we were at the 4th IFToMM Symposium on Mechanism Design for Robotics” (http://meder2018.uniud.it), MEDER 2018, as a corporate sponsor.

The congress brought together researchers, industry professionals and students from a broad range of disciplines related to mechanisms and robotics to share the latest developments and discuss the directions for the future of mechanism and robotics research and attracted a large number of international experts of the sector coming from Italy, Europe and Extra European countries (particularly USA, China, Mexico and Brazil).

Meder 2018 has been for us an important forum of exchange and collaboration with the world of academia and research in the field of robotics. We want to express grateful thanks to the University of Udin and to the Professor Alessandro Gasparetto for this great opportunity.

SISTEC will participate, as technical sponsor, to the fourth edition of MEDER 2018 (4th IFToMMs Symposium on Mechanism Design for Robotics), the international scientific congress on mechanics, mechatronics, robotics and Industry 4.0.

The event, organized by the University of the Studies of Udine (www.uniud.it) and by International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine Science (IFToMM), will take place at University of Udine, from 11 to 13 September 2018, and will be held at DPIA (Polytechnical Department of Engineering and Architecture).

The aim of MEDER 2018 is to bring together researchers, industry professionals and students from a broad range of disciplines related to mechanisms and robotics to share the latest developments and discuss the directions for the future of mechanism and robotic research.

The conference will focus on three topics:

The presence of SISTEC to MEDER 2018 will be made interactive and involving thanks to live demonstrations, in an industry 4.0. environment.
